About Me

I grew up in Pittsburgh, Pensylvania and am a lifelong learner and educator. My large high school and love for football led me to Penn State University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. After graduation, I moved to northern Virginia to teach 5th grade for Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS), one of the largest public school divisions in the U.S. After several years in the classroom, I found a passion for adult education and moved on to the county's central administrative offices as an Educational Specialist where I wrote and managed an out-of-school engineering program at 169 schools. In my time at FCPS, I earned my Master's degree in Instructional Design. I decided to make a career move into coprorate and acquired a position at Amazon as a Program Manager for the DSP Learner Experience. In that role, I support the logistics side of a training program for Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) while creating engaging and meaningful training content.

I spend my time with my husband, son, and daughter cooking, hiking, and playing.
